Priestess

Dakini Temple

Dakini

In Sanskrit, Dakini means "sky dweller", "sky dancer" and female embodiment of enlightenment. In other words.... Dakini is a Priestess. She dances in between the veils of your awareness, in between worlds... she dances to the beat of drums that you can only hear if you truly tune in.

With her pure presence she alters a constricted mind into expansion. Her embodiment can trigger you, heal you, expand you.... depending on your consciousness/willingness/openness.

She is truth. She is neutrality. She simply is. Her dance is a continuous worship of LIFE.

What are Dakini Arts?

Dakini Arts are the ways of communion with and worship of the Divine as it was done in the primordial Temples by the Priestesses. Tantrik rituals and ceremonies which consisted of different forms of dance such as belly dance, twerking, what we know today as 'tribal fusion', and other shamanic rituals that opened the energetic space between the veils of awareness. These dances were not "performed" as a form of entertainment; they were sacred worship and devotional practices. They were also seen as channeling of the Goddess, nature and the "unseen" world.
